Build Rhythmic Skills and Confidence
In each class, students master basic drumming techniques like stick grip, striking patterns, and counting beats. They’ll practice call-and-response rhythms, simple cadences, and group routines that teach timing, listening skills, and musical discipline. By learning to play together, students develop teamwork and the focus needed to perform confidently in front of others.

 

Move, Play, and Perform
Beyond drumming, our Drum Bucket Class gets kids moving! With high-energy routines that blend music and movement, students build coordination, stamina, and a sense of performance. By the end of the program, they’ll be ready to show off their skills through showcases that highlight their creativity, teamwork, and new rhythmic abilities.

This class is designed for kids in grades 3–6, giving them a fun, active way to build rhythm skills, coordination, and teamwork through age-appropriate drumming activities.

 

Student Expectations

• Master basic drumming techniques (stick grip, striking patterns) within the first two weeks.

• Accurately count and perform simple call-and-response rhythms by mid-session.

• Play a short group cadence or routine with classmates by the end of the class cycle.

• Demonstrate improved listening skills and timing when playing in a group.
